The 7.2 volt 4500mAh battery pack is home made and interchangeable with my other flashes of several brands and can also power my led worklights. It's infuriating to have a full pack and a device that ran out of juice but needs a battery of another type, like AA's or D's. That's when customization pays off.
I can get about 200 full power blasts out of my Sunpak with this battery and usually I carry two, and sometimes smaller 2000mAh packs as backups.
