Shots from my recent trip to France
on March 20th through 24th, 2012. Street, people, landscapes & abandoned, France has them all.
The thing I've noticed is, if you just do a few shots in HDR, you run a risk of turning your album a bit lopsided as an entity. HDR does look unworldly in a way and HDR images stand out when compared to
regular ones. With this trip, the deciding factor finally was simply the way this season looks in HDR.
I like naked tree branches reaching for the sky like bristles of an old brush, extreme contrast, misery and fine dark tones with detail. HDR easily goes too much beyond realistic,
and I'll let you be the judge of if these go too far.
